Oh, the excitement…

Apparently, the GOP has been fighting over who can fix immigration. Quite frankly, the answer is that none of them can. Even if they wanted to fix it, there is too much incentive in the government not to. There is no way the thing would pass. As a Democrat, I don’t care about the GOP, but I really feel that if anyone is to fix immigration, it’s all of them. Each GOP candidate has at least one good opinion on immigration. Now, if someone were to come in with a combination of these good opinions, screw partisanism, they shall get votes.

Erm, I was going to do the normal three sections, but that honey baked ham is getting to me. Maybe tomorrow.

Can Oprah help Obama?

Oh hell yes she can. I was looking on CNN.com just a few minutes ago, and I saw an article about this. Oprah is the super-mega-ultrastar Obama needs. She is the biggest host in daytime television. Remember when she endorsed Costco? Imagine that, now multiply by 10. Obviously, she can’t win an entire election, but she can help. Barack has many supporters already, but this could help him steal the women’s vote. Oprah can use her magazine, her TV show, and her subtle advertising to get Obama a good portion of the women’s vote. What’ll be interesting to see is how much she advertises, and if she’s corrupted by another candidate. (COUGHCLINTON)
